Dr. Trung ฤรฌnh Phan, DDS, MSc
Dr. Trung ฤรฌnh Phan was born and raised in Quang Ngai, Vietnam, in a small community surrounded by rice fields. His path in dentistry eventually brought him to Ho Chi Minh City, where he completed six years of dental education at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City. He later returned to the university for postgraduate education, earning his Masterโs degree in Odonto-Stomatology in 2025.
Following graduation, he undertook two years of intensive clinical training at the National Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology, rotating through 9 departments. He later joined the Department of Microsurgery, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, where he practiced from 2018 to 2026.
His surgical background includes orthognathic surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery, microsurgery, and reconstruction of complex facial bone and soft-tissue defects. Working with these challenging conditions shaped a philosophy that would ultimately define his practice: Preserve what can be preserved.
That philosophy led Dr. ฤรฌnh back to one of the most fundamental responsibilities in dentistry:
SAVING THE NATURAL TOOTH.
He pursued advanced training in endodontics and tooth-saving procedures under Dr. Win Nguyen through RootCamp, developing a treatment philosophy centered on careful diagnosis, treatment planning, minimally invasive techniques, micro-surgery and preservation before replacement.
Today, Dr. ฤรฌnh focuses on complex cases in which natural teeth have been compromised, previously treated, or considered for extraction. His approach combines the true knowledge about saving teeth with the perspective and technical experience of a reconstructive surgeon.
The goal is simple: Give every tooth that can be saved a chance to be saved.
Dr. ฤรฌnh is an active member of the Vietnam Association of Oral and Maxillofacial and Reconstructive/Plastic Surgeons and the Japan Association of Microscopic Dentistry.
Beyond dentistry, he shares his life with his wife, their daughter, and three cats. Together, they enjoy traveling and discovering the world.
